This Women Injured by Abortion Brief[1]   provides a unique woman-only view of the horrors, damage, and/or emergency room visits that have already occurred.  This harm to women will exponentially increase if these pills are allowed to become less regulated and more widely-distributed.

The women represented in Women Injured By Abortion – including Martin Luther King’s niece, Alveda King, and Pro-Life Activist and former Planned Parenthood Director Abby Johnson – are asking the highest court in the land to stop all distribution of the reckless Chemical Abortion Pills; reverse the FDA approval of the drug; and protect women from the lies, injuries and predatory practices of the abortion industry.  More reports come in daily.

 Here is a small sampling of some of the witness accounts in the brief:

One woman who had the chemical abortion pill says,

“Within 30 minutes of inserting the Misoprostol, I began to hemorrhage and pass clots. I experienced intense cramping. I had never experienced pain so severe. Now that I have had children, I realize that I was experiencing labor-like contractions. I began to vomit from the pain. I was passing clots the size of lemons. I remember passing my baby. I scooped my baby up in my hands and for a moment, wasn’t sure what to do. No one had prepared me for that moment. I didn’t expect to recognize my baby. It felt wrong to flush my baby down the toilet, but I didn’t know what else to do. In the end, I dropped my child in the toilet, closed my eyes, and flushed.”  Abby Johnson, p. 6 of the Women Injured By Abortion Brief.

“It was one of the most horrific experiences of my life. I was told by the abortion clinic that it wasn’t a big deal, that it was easy and private. . . . The bleeding and the pain started almost immediately and it was intense. The pain lasted for two days and I felt like I was in full-blown labor. I was alone in one of my bathrooms in the apartment. . . .”      – K.L., p. 8 of the Women Injured By Abortion Brief.

“[E]xpect heavier than normal bleeding and cramping . . . [T]hey gave me a written prescription for Hydrocodone . . . and I began to question just how ‘heavy’ this ‘period’ was about to be . . . As I waited . . . at . . . Walmart . . . for my hydrocodone, I felt the rush of blood. . . . I . . . look[ed] down at my jeans and was shocked to see . . . I was covered in blood; from the top of the inseam down to my knees. . . . Tears began to flood my eyes . . . horror and embarrassment. . . . I couldn’t imagine this was. . . a heavier than normal period, . . . my shock . . . turn[ed] into sorrow when I . . . found the sac with my tiny baby in it. . . . I held her for a moment before folding up the toilet paper and setting it into the feminine products bin. . . .”  from A.C., p. 20 of the Women Injured By Abortion Brief.

Another woman says, “I took the second pill while laying on my bed, expecting some mild menstrual cramps as they had told me.  That’s not what it was at all – I experienced very intense, painful cramps as my body expelled my baby’s body into the toilet.  My baby was disposed of in a toilet.  A toilet.  I wish so much now that I would’ve taken the remains of that precious little body and buried it.” – C., p. 9 and 10 of the Women Injured By Abortion Brief.

In yet another example, one of the Women Injured By Abortion’s attorneys Allan E. Parker, J.D., President and Founder of The Justice Foundation, says:  “I remember my first call from a woman who had a chemical abortion pill, sobbing uncontrollably, she said ‘They lied to me!  They said it wasn’t a baby!  This is a baby!  I can see the hands and legs! Can I bury my baby in the backyard?’

Help us end the pain of abortion.  Share your story of how abortion has hurt you in a Declaration Form.  A Declaration is a legally admissible testimony declaring under penalty of perjury that the information is true.  It is powerful to take before courts and legislatures in efforts to limit or ban abortion.  Operation Outcry is Restoring Justice! WHAT IF A MASSIVE MORAL OUTCRY
EMERGES FROM THE AMERICAN PEOPLE?

In the 1992 landmark case Planned Parenthood v. Casey, the US Supreme Court had an opportunity to reverse Roe v. Wade, and its companion Doe v Bolton. In conference the justices voted 5-4 to overturn Roe and Doe, but at the 11th hour before the opinion was released a centrist coalition of moderate judges – including Justice Kennedy who switched his vote – was formed to write a compromise that would weaken the Roe and Doe decisions, but still leave abortion as the law of the land.

As you know, Operation Outcry and The Justice Foundation are committed to mobilizing women and men across the nation and the world to tell the truth that abortion hurts women.  The Lord has now given us another  wonderful opportunity to partner with a brand new TV program and Christian TV network to help more women and help them surrender their secret to the Supreme Court.

“Surrender the Secret” is a 10-episode, Christian reality TV series following five women who tell their stories about having abortions in their past, and take a healing journey together. The women surrender their deepest, darkest secrets, and admit to aborting a past pregnancy. The women form a tight bond and embrace each other as they go on this journey together, sharing their abortion stories, learning about God’s love and forgiveness and getting set free from the bondage of their past decisions. We are excited about this new program.  I urge you to watch the first episode on Jan 22nd (or later) on the web. You will see some of the pain and suffering to which we have been exposed by collecting over 5200 legally admissible declarations, but you will also see the love of Christ and the power of His healing. He is the Redeemer.

Finally, TV shows like this are important for educating the nation and the Supreme Court that abortion hurts women.  Where is the truth about this pain? Right now it is locked up in the secret places of women’s hearts. When those tears overflow the secret places, the covenant with death that is Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton will be cancelled, annulled and will no longer stand.  Isaiah 28:14-22

More than 3 decades after the Supreme Court legalized abortion-on-demand, the tide has turned.  It’s the beginning of the end of Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton.

Upholding the federal ban on the horrific and gruesome “partial-birth abortion” procedure, the Supreme Court cited The Justice Foundation’s Amicus Brief (also known as a friend of the court brief) in its ruling.  The brief was filed on behalf of Sandra Cano, who was “Mary Doe” of Doe v. Bolton (the companion case to Roe v. Wade), and 180 women of Opperation Outcry hurt by abortion.

Citing sworn testimony that The Justice Foundation presented, and acknowledging the argument that “abortion hurts women,” the Court recognized that “some women come to regret” their abortions.  “Whether to have an abortion requires a difficult and painful moral decision” and is “fraught with emotional consequence,” the Court said.  The Court also noted that “severe depression and loss of esteem can follow” an abortion.
